Diablo Clone Hunting is a server wide event which many players take part in, to get diablo clone you need to be in a hell game and many Stones of Jordans must be sold to Merchants. Finding & Releasing Diablo Clone, all by yourself or in a group To get diablo clone you will firstly have to find the ip you like, to do this you will have to follow steps below. 1) Go to your Diablo II directory, Right Click Diablo II.exe Click Send To and then click Desktop (Create Shortcut) 2) Go to your Desktop Right click on Shortcut to Diablo II.exe Click on Properties Make your Target look like: "C:\Program FIles\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -w (You are adding the -w OUTSIDE the quotes) Click OK and then double click on the link, diablo should run in window mode. 3. Go to your START button and then RUN 4. If your using Windows XP type into the run box "cmd" and hit OK If your using Windows ME or 98 type into the run box "command" and hit OK A DOS prompt window should pop up. 5. Login to diablo and join/create a game, best to go private as no one can enter unless u give password out. 6. Click on the DOS Prompt window, and type in: netstat -n | find "4000" You will see a line like: TCP 68.59.179.254:4204 63.240.202.78:4000 ESTABLISHED The First Part of the line you can ignore so we are left with 63.240.202.78:4000 ESTABLISHED The first three sections of the IP adress we can also ignore as these will allways stay the same, so we are left with 78:4000 ESTABLISHED We can now ignore the last two parts, which are :4000 ESTABLISHED Leaving us with 78, this is the IP Address of the game 6) Now you must eather have a trustworthy friend/team or two CD-Keys working online(Use d2loader or something to get them both on at one time) You will need to to keep creating games untill you find the IP Address you want lets say 78. 7) Once found you will need to IDLE, to do this you will eather need a program(Can get banned for these) or two characters in game, both in the trade screen or a macro(Doubt they will ever ban for these) what keeps you moving around, because after so many minuites of idle time battle net automatically kicks you from game. To Get dclone to "POP" you will follow step 8 8. A "Selling Game" as it is called is usually a softcore non-ladder normal game on the ACTIVE game server. This is where **MOST** sojs exist, and it is easier to sell them from the mules. People are always wanting sell games, but only one or two is needed per hot server. If you created a sell game let the OPS know you have one. If your joining a sell game to sell, get in sell, then GET OUT so it has free spaces for others to join. 9. You create the games you want to battle the dclone in (HAS to be a HELL difficultly game). The core doesn't matter, it spawns in ALL hell games on the game server. Once you see the "Diablo Walks The Earth" message, as long as the game is active he will spawn there, so people usually try to snag as many games as possible on a server, then kill off the dclone one by one to get as many charms as possible. The diablo clone will spawn at the FIRST Super Unique monster that spawns in your game. Meaning if you are in town when you get the Walks the Earth message, and then go to ACT 1 The Cold Plains, the diablo clone will spawn as Bishibosh. |
